JACKLYN ROMANO

ROWAN UNIVERSITY

Jacklyn Romano graduated from Rowan University in May with a bachelor’s degree in business management. An Ocean City High School grad, she is the daughter of Joe and Jackie Romano, of Sea Isle City. Jacklyn excelled at Rowan, where she held a full-time job, took extra classes each semester to graduate one year early, and ran an online fitness business, training more than 1,000 men and women from all around the world. She also created and launched her own fitness bootcamp and studio in Sea Isle. This summer, Jacklyn plans to work full time at her family’s business and enjoy her second season as the owner of her bootcamp, where she teaches classes six days a week outdoors overlooking the bay.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

NICOLE BLUM

OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL

Nicole Blum, of Sea Isle City, graduated summa cum laude from Ocean City High School in June. The daughter of Kelly and Eric Blum, she will attend the University of Maryland, enrolled in the scholar’s program. She plans to double major in international relations and criminology, and minor in global terrorism. Nicole was a four-year member of the OCHS tennis team, and as a senior served as a captain and helped the Red Raiders win the conference championship. She also was active in the National Honor Society, Key Club, freshman mentoring, student council, and Italian Club. During her junior year, she was chosen to compete for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year, and raised more than $18,000 for the organization in seven weeks.

 

KELLY ANN IANNONE

OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL

Kelly Ann Iannone graduated from Ocean City High School in June alongside her twin brother, Patrick. Their parents are Joseph Iannone and Rose Milano, of Sea Isle City. She will attend Rowan University and plans to focus on studies that will lead to a career as a physician’s assistant. During her time at OCHS, Kelly was a member of the National Honor Society. She will work at her summer job at A Modo Mio restaurant and spend time with her family and friends before heading off to school this fall.

 

 

 

PATRICK IANNONE

OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL

Patrick Iannone, of Sea Isle City, graduated from Ocean City High School this June alongside his twin sister, Kelly. Patrick will attend Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., where he plans to study engineering. This summer, Patrick will work at Sands Department Store while also enjoying fishing and boating before leaving for college.

 

 

 

 

 

ZACHARY KEEFER

OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL

Zachary Keefer, of Sea Isle City, graduated from Ocean City High School in June. The son of Matthew and Nicole Keefer, he was a member of the OCHS science and history clubs, co-president of the bridge club, and a member of the student council for two years. He also played soccer for two seasons, and baseball for three. As a junior, he received a seal of biliteracy in Spanish, certifying his proficiency of reading, writing, and speaking the language. He plans to attend Norwich University in the fall and pursue a career as a naval officer.

 

 

 

DELANEY LARKIN

CAPE MAY TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL

Delaney Larkin, of Sea Isle City, graduated from Cape May Technical High School in June and will attend Stockton University this fall. The daughter of Michael and Kathy Larkin, Delaney plans to pursue a degree in elementary education. She was a member of the Cape May Technical varsity basketball team and a student in the Travel & Tourism, Event Planning & Marketing program. This summer, Delaney plans to return to her summer job at O’Donnell’s Pour House and hit the beach to enjoy her favorite hobby, surfing.

NOAH GRDINICH

BISHOP McHUGH REGIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL

Noah Grdinich, the son of Greg and Toni Grdinich, of Sea Isle City, graduated from Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School in June. In the fall, he will attend St. Augustine Prep, which presented him with the St. Thomas of Villanova award. He was county and state winner of the LAOH Irish History Writing Contest and finished second in the nation. At Bishop McHugh, he was consistently on the honor roll and played for the basketball and baseball teams. He played football for the Ocean City Jr. Raiders and sails with the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City.

 

 

 

LUKE MONICHETTI

BISHOP McHUGH REGIONAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL

Luke Monichetti, of Sea Isle City, graduated from Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School in June and will attend Ocean City High School in the fall. The son of Mike and Jeannie Monichetti, Luke was a member of the basketball team and theater department at Bishop McHugh. He also played football for the Ocean City Jr. Raiders and earned a black belt in karate at the American Martial Arts Academy in Ocean View.
