Grab your little ones and head over to 21st Street for the annual Avalon Baby Parade. Enter in a variety of categories including Best Beach Baby, Best Float Design, Happiest Baby and more for a chance to win trophies and join in the parade! Join For Pete’s Sake for the 5th Annual Buttoned-Up BBQ, hosted by the Young Friends Society. For Pete’s Sake was created to provide adult cancer patients, caregivers and children with the unique opportunity to spend valuable time together and take a break from the illness. The organization assists in providing a respite vacation and the unique gift of time together and away from illness, treatment and doctor visits. Grab the family and spend the morning focusing on fitness! The first 2.5 miles of this run will be held on the beach at 80th street, then south to Stone Harbor point and back, with the final 2.5 miles on the road. Kids and relay participants are encouraged to join in!

Open to ages 7-15, this swim/run challenge is only open to 100 participants! Cheer on ages 7-10 on a 100M swim parallel to beach followed by a 1K beach run, and for older ages (11-15) on a 200M swim and 2K beach run.
