Girls Weekend


Gather your girlfriends and head to Sea Isle City for its spring Girls Weekend! Hosted by the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization, the event features three full days of unlimited opportunities to eat, drink and shop throughout town. Travel between the stores and restaurants to take advantage of discounts and hospitalities offered by nearly 30 participating businesses. Jitney service will be available on Saturday from 4pm-2am.

Easter Program

5-6pm, Dealy Field

Children ages up to 11 are invited to participate in the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt at Dealy Field. Sponsored by the City’s Division of Recreation, the event also includes face painting and chances for photo ops with the Easter Bunny himself. Children will be divided into two age categories for the hunt.

Beach Cleanup

Help Sea Isle City’s Environmental Commission cleanup the beaches and the Promenade to get them ready for the season. Volunteers will meet at JFK Boulevard & the Promenade, where they will receive trash bags and data sheets to document their finds before heading out to assigned locations.

Arbor Day Celebration

Noon-1pm, Sea Isle City Welcome Center

Celebrate Arbor Day during a ceremony in front of the Sea Isle City Welcome Center at 300 JFK Blvd. The celebration, sponsored by the Sea Isle City Historical Museum, the Garden Club, the Environmental Commission and the City of Sea Isle, will begin at noon and will be held in conjunction with the planting of crepe myrtles and trident maples along JFK Boulevard. Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to enjoy refreshments at the Welcome Center.

Join the Delaware Valley Surf Anglers Association for its 38th annual Karl J. Boehret Surf Fishing Tournament.

The event will feature individual and team tournaments and includes a free lunch, door prizes and awards at Community Lodge after the tournament at 1pm.

Join a variety of organizations throughout Sea Isle City and Cape May County all under one roof to learn about recent initiatives, pick up pamphlets and more during Sea Isle City’s Community Day. The event will feature free personal-document shredding, free blood-pressure screenings, a bicycle auction and children’s activities. Mayor Leonard Desiderio will conclude with his presentation of the “Do the Right Thing” Awards. Visitors will be able to stop by the Garden Club Flower Show held simultaneously this year.
