NJ Beach Yoga will be hosting its sixth annual “Pose for Peace” event on Labor Day. Attendees will form the shape of a peace sign, symbolic of sending a wave of peace to those who need help.

Sea Isle City has a new women’s movement.


Female beach-patrol members seized the coveted Bill Howarth Women’s Lifeguard Invitational in Ventnor, which is widely considered the women’s version of the men’s South Jersey lifeguard racing championship, in early August. A nucleus of five- and six-year veterans broke through to give Sea Isle a moment in the sun. More

In the late 1800s, the land upon which Sea Isle City now stands was nothing more than a vast expanse of beach, dunes and marshland, accented by stands of holly and cedar trees. The area was primarily used for grazing sheep and cows.
